Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years inflight division experience supporting/managing flight attendants
- 3-5 years leadership experience managing teams with management employees
- knowledge of union contracts and experience with unionized work groups
- must work onsite in ORD with minimal travel of 5 percent
- strong leadership and communication skills
- authorized to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship
- pass required interview process
- punctual and reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree or related experience (bachelor's preferred)
- 5-8 years proven experience in an Inflight division supporting/managing flight attendants
- 3-5 years experience leading a team including management employees
- knowledge of Inflight contracts including unionized work groups and labor contracts
- solid leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- successful completion of interview
- reliable, punctual attendance
Job Duties
- direct the activities of the Inflight base to meet performance goals
- responsible for base operational performance and develop corrective actions to improve
- collaborate with other Operations leaders to effectively manage timely departures
- provide reporting and follow-up to Inflight leadership on performance
- collaborate with other Inflight departments to ensure effective and efficient processes are implemented in the field
- collaborate with AFA and maintain local union relationships
- hear and deliver decisions on grievances
- develop the annual budget plan and report on forecast and budget performance
- develop and monitor base strategies and goals
- responsible for base safety goals and FAA regulatory compliance
- ensure deployment of all safety initiatives
- coordinate with Inflight safety on investigations
- provide support for Inflight safety incidents
- ensure delivery of Inflight and marketing products
- provide communication, training, and support to flight attendants
- direct recognition and counseling of flight attendants
- provide mentoring, feedback, and hold flight attendants accountable
