Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum eight years of leadership experience in housekeeping operations preferably in cruise or hospitality industries
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • ability to travel 25-50% shipboard
  • located in or willing to relocate to the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area
  • ability to work from designated office Tuesday through Thursday with remote work option on Monday and Friday
  • proficiency with Crew Personnel System (CPS) or similar personnel management systems
  • commitment to integrity, honesty, and promoting an ethical, compliant culture
  • physical ability to move regularly throughout company facilities
  • capability to work primarily in climate-controlled environments
  • knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards compliance

Job Qualifications

  • Eight years of leadership experience in housekeeping operations preferably in cruise or hospitality industries
  • experience managing shipboard personnel and activities
  • ability to lead development and execution of operational strategies that influence guest experience and brand presentation
  • expertise in making high-level decisions shaping visual and functional standards of staterooms, public spaces, and crew areas
  • proven track record managing budgets and vendor relationships
  • strong leadership skills with experience managing multiple direct reports
  • ability to influence cross-functional decisions and contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives
  • excellent problem-solving and risk management abilities
  • demonstrated success in fostering accountability, service excellence, and professional growth

Job Duties

  • Partnering with shipboard department heads and Human Resources to assess talent gaps, drive succession planning, and oversee personnel decisions including promotions, pay changes, and departmental moves
  • leading initiatives to build leadership capability and foster a high-performance culture
  • coaching and inspiring a diverse team of shipboard leaders and driving talent development, succession planning, and performance management
  • spearheading planning and execution of dry dock activities, newbuild integration, and refurbishment projects
  • overseeing product sourcing, vendor negotiations, and logistics to ensure timely delivery and operational readiness
  • managing departmental CAPEX and R&M budgets with a focus on cost efficiency and value creation
  • developing and executing an annual plan for floor care and upholstery maintenance
  • ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards and leading risk assessments
  • serving as a liaison between Housekeeping and internal stakeholders such as Brand Experience, Product Development, Public Health, and Newbuild teams
  • analyzing operational data, guest feedback, and financial metrics to identify trends and lead initiatives that enhance service delivery and streamline processes
