Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10-15 years management experience in major event operations
  • Experience managing and integrating teams across disciplines
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment

  • Proficiency in English
  • Knowledge of Spanish and/or French is a plus

Job Duties

  • Ensure host city delivery of key contractual agreements including Host City Agreement, Stadium Agreement, and Training Site Agreements
  • Manage the timely delivery of facilities, sites and services at a world-class level
  • Oversee the FIFA26 team including hiring, administration, and operations
  • Track planning and operational status and provide timely reporting
  • Liaise with all FIFA26 operational areas to ensure smooth and effective operations
  • Establish and maintain communication channels with local authorities, facility operators, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for seamless integration including transport, police, and emergency services
  • Integrate operational plans into effective venue plans
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks
  • Contribute to project and knowledge management including debriefs and documentation
  • Participate in workshops and meetings with FIFA, Host City authorities and other stakeholders
  • Plan, manage and implement quality on-site support and services for all FIFA and related departments leading up to and during the tournament
  • Organize and lead host city tours for staff, VIPs, and other key groups
