Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, food service management, or related field
  • minimum 5 years of experience in nutrition services management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
  • registration as a dietitian or nutritionist preferred
  • demonstrated knowledge of HACCP and allergen safety standards
  • experience working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • proficient in nutrition software and electronic health records
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree in nutrition, dietetics, food service management, or related field
  • registration as a dietitian or nutritionist preferred
  • previous leadership experience in hospital or healthcare nutrition services
  • strong knowledge of HACCP, allergen protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • experience collaborating in multidisciplinary healthcare teams
  • proficiency with electronic health records and nutrition management software
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proven ability to manage budgets, vendors, and teams effectively

Job Duties

  • lead and manage hospital nutrition services including food and nutrition services and dietary services
  • oversee patient dining, retail operations, catering, and therapeutic menu management
  • drive regulatory readiness ensuring compliance with HACCP and allergen protocols
  • collaborate with nursing, clinical nutrition, pharmacy, physical therapy, case management, and social work teams to improve care transitions and diet accuracy
  • optimize staffing, vendor relationships, and supply chain partnerships
  • implement sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and data-driven menu engineering to enhance patient satisfaction
  • monitor and improve patient satisfaction scores related to nutrition services including Press Ganey and HCAHPS domains
