Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years in global trade compliance
- Licensed Customs Broker
- Expertise in HTS classification, valuation, and country of origin
- Proven leadership and people management skills
- Experience with trade systems and brokerage provider management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting in Greensboro, NC or Danville, VA or remotely

- Minimum 7 years experience in global trade compliance
- Proven leadership with 5+ years people management experience
- Skilled in guiding cross-functional teams

- Strong communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Direct global import and export operations to ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade laws
- Serve as primary liaison with government authorities, foreign agencies, senior leadership, and internal counsel on trade matters
- Develop, implement, and oversee customs compliance programs including provider management, audits, classification databases, valuation, and recordkeeping
- Lead and train the global trade compliance team managing personnel, service providers, special customs procedures, and government inquiries
- Manage brokerage and service provider selection processes
- Oversee responses to government audits and inquiries
- Ensure compliance with special customs procedures and maintain trade records
