Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or greater in business, logistics, or supply chain management
- 10 plus years of related experience
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Experience leading and growing an internal procurement function
- Preferably hospitality industry experience
- Proven ability to unify teams across locations
- Experience with sourcing and procurement technology platforms
- Ability to travel globally for business needs
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, logistics, or supply chain management
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant procurement experience with at least 5 years in a supervisory role
- Proven experience leading and growing internal procurement functions, preferably in hospitality
- Demonstrated success in uniting teams across multiple locations for enterprise-wide procurement improvements
- Familiarity with sourcing and procurement technology platforms
- Strong collaborative skills and relationship-building ability
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Data and metrics-driven approach to management
- Ability to influence organizational adherence to procurement methodologies
- Strategic thinker with business acumen and geographic sensitivity
Job Duties
- Mature the function by evolving procurement strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Actively coach, train, and support field-based procurement teams for alignment with global strategies
- Manage the company’s relationship with third-party Group Procurement Organizations to maximize value and cost savings
- Liaise with operations and brand leaders regarding product and guest room amenity standards and lead sourcing for these items
- Deliver annual cost savings and margin expansion through execution and optimization of global purchasing capabilities
- Partner with operating and support teams to achieve higher quality products, lower costs, and environmental alignment with Promise to Place
- Develop and execute annual procurement business plans, setting savings targets and metrics
- Collaborate with Accounting and IT to establish clear Procure-to-Pay processes and participate in system design and implementation
- Foster a culture of inclusion and information sharing between central procurement and operational teams
- Lead vendor and supplier management including negotiation of commercial terms
- Travel globally to Pursuit operating locations for direct engagement with operations leaders
