Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combined education and experience
  • At least twelve years of aviation industry experience
  • Minimum five years working specifically in helicopter industry roles
  • Minimum five years in customer service, sales, or program management positions
  • In-depth knowledge of North American helicopter market dynamics
  • Proven executive-level communication and influence skills
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or MS Office
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Familiarity with SAP or equivalent ERP system
  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Ability to travel up to 60 percent domestically and internationally
  • Able to work on-site 40 percent of the time
  • Physical ability to perform job-related duties including carrying up to 30 pounds, standing, walking, sitting, and use of office equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in business or engineering or equivalent combined education and experience
  • Minimum twelve years of aviation experience in repairs management, programs execution, logistics, or customer service
  • Minimum five years of experience in the helicopter industry
  • Minimum five years of experience in customer service, sales, or program management
  • Comprehensive understanding of the North American helicopter market
  • Experience communicating and influencing decision making at the executive boardroom level
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace or MS Office applications
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems

Job Duties

  • Direct and supervise all key account sales and business development efforts
  • Support market development and growth opportunities and increase market share
  • Manage all key account sales, market analysis, and business development initiatives
  • Direct and supervise all key account customer support responsibilities, including contract execution and profit and loss management
  • Manage materials support and logistics, including forecasting and on-time delivery
  • Provide guidance for customer support center teams to achieve operational metrics
  • Develop, plan, and deploy support strategies to improve key account fleet activity
  • Track and report data on maintenance costs and fleet availability
  • Lead efforts to manage consignment inventory and spares forecasting
  • Manage and develop the GMR program team to meet or exceed customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate recruitment, training, and professional development of team members
  • Foster cooperation across departments to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Ensure all direct reports are trained and continuously develop competencies
  • Maintain operating budgets and meet key performance indicators
  • Attend local and national trade shows to develop new business and public relations
  • Communicate and influence executive-level decision-makers
  • Collaborate with technical support for improved helicopter operations
  • Control operating expenses within company guidelines
