Job Requirements
- At least 6 years progressive experience in front desk leadership
- or a 4-year college degree and at least 4 to 5 years related experience
- or a 2-year college degree and at least 5 to 6 years related experience
- specific brand experience/OnQ certification
- 500+ room experience and/or previous director level experience preferred
- excellent communication skills
- strong problem solving and multitasking abilities
- ability to meet deadlines and manage complex issues
- proficiency with Windows operating systems
- capability of analyzing and using financial and data information
Job Qualifications
- At least 6 years progressive experience in front desk leadership
- a 4-year college degree with 4 to 5 years related experience, or a 2-year college degree with 5 to 6 years related experience
- specific brand experience and/or OnQ property management certification preferred
- experience managing 500+ room hotels or previous director level experience preferred
- excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- proficient with Windows operating systems
- strong ability to analyze and use financial and data information
Job Duties
- Directs all things Front Office, from guest check-in/check-out management to room inventory control, upholding brand standards, and ensuring profitability through budgeting and policy enforcement
- Coaches, motivates, and develops the Front Office team through supervision, counseling, evaluations, and recognition, as well as recruiting, interviewing, and training new staff
- Monitors guest service trends, addresses and resolves guest concerns promptly, and strives to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction
- Implements and oversees creative marketing and upselling strategies to maximize room occupancy and revenue, while keeping the team informed about all hotel promotions and events
- Maintains emergency readiness with relevant certifications, leads daily reporting and operational decision-making, participates in Manager on Duty shifts, and manages special projects and challenges as needed
