Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Minimum five years of food service management experience
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong critical thinking and decisive judgment skills
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment
- Ability to handle physical demands including bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- Must comply with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Minimum five years of food service management experience
- Proven leadership and management skills
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
Job Duties
- Plan and monitor staffing activities including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits
- Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with administrative, legal, and ethical requirements
- Direct and evaluate departmental operations including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives
