Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification or Registered Dietitian (RD) credential
  • Minimum of five years food service management experience
  • Ability to work independently with critical thinking and decisive judgment
  • Capability to perform under stressful conditions
  • Willingness to comply with post-offer pre-placement assessment including drug testing
  • Commitment to adhere to all organizational and legal requirements related to the role

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification from the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM)
  • Registered Dietitian CDR Certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is a plus
  • Minimum of five years of food service management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and staffing effectively
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Plan and monitor staffing activities including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
  • Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets and ensure compliance with allocated funding
  • Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits
  • Develop and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with organizational objectives and legal and ethical requirements
  • Direct and evaluate departmental operations including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives
