Job Requirements

  • Education in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as director of food and beverage in a similar hotel environment
  • Strong commercial and financial management skills
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
  • Ability to train and manage staff effectively

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in increasing profitability
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of the hotel, leisure, and service sector
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results

Job Duties

  • Direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage departments to maintain high standards of quality and service
  • Plan and direct functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department
  • Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards
  • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule, and evaluate staff
  • Maximize profits through outstanding customer service
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote food and beverage offerings
