Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in food and beverage management or executive chef roles
  • proficient knowledge of food and beverage regulations
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • ability to manage budgets and financial operations
  • fluent in English
  • ability to use multiple POS systems
  • excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • ability to lift up to 30 lbs
  • ability to work extended hours and weekends
  • ability to travel for training sessions
  • physical capability to sit for long periods and use computer extensively

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in food and beverage manager or executive chef roles with progressive growth
  • proficient understanding of cost of goods sold, menu pricing, and financial schedule extension
  • knowledge of events and banquets to serve potential and current residents
  • experience placing food and beverage orders through major vendors
  • fluent in English both written and spoken
  • experience with multiple Point of Sales systems
  • ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate
  • ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • excellent communication skills
  • experienced in conflict resolution
  • intermediate command of Microsoft Office Suite
  • strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal food and beverage regulations
  • oversee alcohol and food license permitting processes
  • oversee the implementation and optimization of Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • ensure ergonomic efficiency in kitchen operations
  • serve as an equipment specialist, ensuring proper use, maintenance, and upgrades
  • manage food and beverage budgeting, including scheduling, cost of goods, and profit/loss analysis
  • develop and implement comprehensive training plans, modules, and manuals
  • effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet operational goals
  • carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, developing, mentoring, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
