Job Requirements
- Associates degree in hospitality management or similar
- Minimum of 5 years of food and beverage operational leadership experience in multi-unit environment
- Proven ability to manage and lead food and beverage operations and teams successfully
- Advanced knowledge of food and beverage products and industry trends
- Proficiency with restaurant banquet bar and quick service operations
- Strong financial management skills including budgeting and P&L oversight
- Experience with procurement inventory control and technology systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and process improvement experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to food safety sanitation and legal compliance
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in hospitality management or similar
- Minimum of 5 years of success in a food and beverage operational leadership role in a multi-unit environment
- Proven track record managing efficient food and beverage operations services and programs
- Experience developing and implementing organizational operational and system changes
- Advanced knowledge of food and beverage products recipes categories programs origins and trends
- Proficiency in restaurant banquet bar and quick service outlet operations sales promotions marketing and guest capture optimization
- Advanced knowledge of food production forecasting waste and yield management
- Exceptional service mindset
- Systematic approach to problem solving system and operational improvement
- Experience driving continuous process improvement programs
- Strong technology skills including Point of Sales Scheduling Procurement and Microsoft
- Proficiency in procurement and inventory control systems and operations
- Strong financial acumen including P&L management budgeting forecasting controls and optimization
- Experience leading training people development and mentorship programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Complete oversight responsibility for all food and beverage functions programs systems procedures and operational performance
- Establish procedures and manage constancy for delivery of food and beverage service operations that meets all goals related to budgets and KPI matrixes
- Strategically and tactically drive business output and profitability including sales guest capture and cost control
- Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements preparing budgets scheduling expenditures analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
- Plan and direct food and beverage administration and daily operations
- Assign and delegate responsibilities for various food and beverage sub departments
- Assist managers in achieving profit objectives and standards of quality food service cleanliness merchandising and promotion
- Achieve operational objectives through strategic plans reviews audits trend identification and system improvements
- Control food and beverage costs via portion control waste minimization and preparation quality
- Drive professional procurement sourcing and inventory control culture with adherence to policies and procedures
- Recruit hire onboard train assign schedule coach counsel staff and enforce policies
- Administer training programs to provide well-trained employees and career advancement opportunities
- Regularly evaluate customer acceptance and recommend new operating and marketing policies as needed
- Maintain safe and healthy environment by enforcing food safety sanitation standards and compliance
- Ensure operations conform to alcoholic beverage commission regulations
- Maintain accurate operations documentation and update technology systems for optimal use
- Support corporate projects and promote organizational shared values
- Volunteer for task-force and project activities benefitting the organization and department
