Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • one to two years of related food and beverage experience
  • experience managing high-volume bar restaurant sales and catering
  • food safety and sanitation training
  • alcohol awareness certification
  • ability to communicate in English
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • one to two years of relevant experience in food and beverage management
  • high-volume bar restaurant sales and catering experience preferred
  • food safety and sanitation training
  • alcohol awareness certification
  • ability to read and speak English
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and POS systems

Job Duties

  • Work directly with the Executive Chef director of Sales and General Manager to execute daily food and beverage operations
  • cultivate a positive work environment focusing on culture and employee satisfaction including staff retention and training
  • maintain high guest satisfaction through consistent table-touching and staff engagement
  • assign and delegate responsibilities across food and beverage sub-departments including service restaurant banquets beverage carts and golf course applications
  • multi-task to manage multiple food and beverage activations simultaneously
  • prepare and monitor annual budgets revenue goals and expenses collaborating with executive teams
  • review and analyze financial reports to monitor food and beverage performance and implement corrective actions
  • monitor market conditions affecting menu offerings business volume and profitability
  • advise marketing on food and beverage promotions and initiatives
  • execute inventory control and conduct monthly analyses for reconciliation and cost control opportunities
  • participate in menu creation with chefs and managers ensuring variety and pricing strategies supporting financial goals
  • oversee ordering processes including quantity timing receiving invoice settlements and storage conditions
  • research vendor opportunities pricing and service evaluating relationships for facility benefit
  • approve catering policies pricing and oversee event planning production and closure
  • implement food and beverage policies ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • interview hire train assign evaluate reward and discipline staff addressing grievances and resolving operational problems
  • manage food and beverage managers restaurant and golf course staff members
