Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-5+ years of relevant athletic field maintenance experience
- Ability to obtain local fertilizer applicator license within 90 days
- Knowledge of USGA sand-based rootzones
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and staff

- Experience managing a team or department

Job Duties
- Mowing fields
- Fertilizing and maintaining turf
- Rebuilding pitching mounds and home plate areas
- Dragging and moisture management of infield skin
- Field marking and edging
- Aerating and topdressing
- Verticutting and replacing sod
- Tarping fields
- Managing department administration
- Planning projects and events
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Approving payroll and payroll allocation
- Maintaining equipment and irrigation systems
- Hiring, training, and scheduling staff
- Organizing daily work lists
- Managing materials inventory
- Managing vendor relationships
- Communicating with employees, coaches, and players
- Obtaining and maintaining fertilizer applicator license
- Following fertilizer laws and regulations
- Applying knowledge of USGA sand-based rootzones
- Performing other duties as assigned
