Job Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, aviation management or related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in construction and facilities, preferably in aviation or related field
  • A valid driver’s license and clear driving record
  • Strong background in preventive maintenance programs, project management, vendor/contractor oversight and equipment lifecycle planning
  • Experience leading teams and implementing consistent practices across multiple sites
  • Skilled in budget management and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Operational leadership in executing projects and programs with a strong focus on detail and safety
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with local leaders, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Results-driven approach focusing on delivering projects and programs that meet operational and financial goals
  • High level of integrity and accountability maintaining the highest standards of compliance, safety, and professionalism

  • 7-10 years in construction and facilities, preferably in aviation or a related field

Job Duties

  • Manage evaluation, planning and execution of construction projects including hangar builds, FBO terminal renovations, ramp repairs and other infrastructure upgrades
  • Liaise with third-party advisors engaged to assist with construction and capital projects
  • Oversee facility repairs and improvements ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and compliant with regulatory standards
  • Partner with local leaders and vendors to scope, bid and manage contractors for facility and infrastructure projects
  • Support capital budgeting processes providing input on cost estimates and ROI
  • Direct facility maintenance programs including preventive maintenance, capital repairs and lifecycle management
  • Standardize repair protocols, vendor management and maintenance scheduling across multiple sites
  • Assist in developing long-term plans for asset replacement
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, OSHA, EPA, ADA and other regulatory requirements
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance safety, efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Provide operational support to facility and station leaders to ensure consistency and service excellence
  • Serve as a company liaison with vendors, airport authorities and other stakeholders on construction and facilities-related matters
  • Supervise and develop team members promoting accountability and continuous improvement
  • Assume additional responsibilities to support Modern Aviation’s evolving business objectives
