Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of audio visual experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment
  • Must be able to successfully complete Level 3 Skills training
  • Proficiency with computer hardware
  • Proficiency with computer software and programs including the Internet and Microsoft Office
  • Effective leadership abilities and customer satisfaction focus
  • A valid driver’s license is required for team members who may operate Company vehicles

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels of their organization and provide outstanding customer service while focusing on customer retention
  • Service events and act as a point of escalation when needed
  • Identify key issues and decision makers that will influence contract renewal and leverage internal resources to facilitate planning for renewing existing business
  • Consult with Venue Sales Leadership on sales strategies
  • Participate in business review presentations
  • Drive results by managing an efficient and profitable operation focusing on revenue maximization and cost control
  • Achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment sub-rentals, and other costs
  • Utilize operational and financial reports accurately and timely
  • Coordinate invoicing activities and ensure client billing approval
  • Complete accurate sales forecasts and submit timely
  • Manage location P&L and develop action plans to address deficiencies or grow the business
  • Confirm venue partners process payments timely
  • Perform and direct daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setup
  • Ensure equipment and services are delivered on time and as specified
  • Anticipate equipment challenges professionally
  • Maintain inventory control, safety, and quality assurance
  • Efficiently share labor and equipment within local market
  • Attend operational venue meetings
  • Apply basic to advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment and software issues
  • Utilize company computer systems effectively
  • Act as solo on-site technician if necessary
  • Create strategies to maximize revenue per event including upselling and cross-selling
  • Prepare and deliver compelling value presentations
  • Prepare and present timely quotes and proposals
  • Attend site visits and planning meetings to support customer experience
  • Collaborate with vendors and departments to capture and service events
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines
  • Attend customer meetings and address concerns
  • Maintain accurate customer information in CRM
  • Maintain knowledge of new products and technology
  • Present performance reports to senior management
  • Deliver world-class service by cultivating relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Oversee personnel assisting event execution
  • Exceed customer expectations
  • Meet with guests onsite to ensure equipment setup and functionality
  • Monitor venues and check in with customers
  • Uphold professional image and standards
  • Promote culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement
  • Embrace and foster company core values
