Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years audio-visual experience
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
  • Ability to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with customer service or hospitality
  • Valid driver’s license for vehicle operation
  • Effective communication and leadership skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of audio-visual experience
  • 2+ years of operations or supervisory experience
  • 3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in a live show environment
  • Proficiency with computer hardware
  • Proficiency with software including Microsoft Office and internet
  • Effective leadership abilities
  • Customer satisfaction focus
  • Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles

Job Duties

  • Drive results by managing an efficient and profitable operation with focus on revenue maximization and cost control
  • Achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment sub-rentals and other costs
  • Utilize operational and financial reports and complete accurate and timely reports
  • Coordinate invoicing activities and ensure timely client billing approval
  • Complete accurate sales forecasts and participate in business review presentations
  • Review and manage location P&L and develop action plans
  • Confirm venue partners process payments timely
  • Perform daily floor operations including scheduling, equipment setups, and strikes
  • Ensure equipment and services are delivered on time and meet brand standards
  • Anticipate and manage equipment challenges
  • Use inventory control procedures to maintain levels and safety
  • Share labor and equipment efficiently within the local market
  • Attend venue operational meetings
  • Work with Regional Sales Director to create sales strategies
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to convey value and solve challenges
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals timely
  • Attend site visits and planning meetings
  • Collaborate with vendors and company divisions for events
  • Incorporate event cost structure into solution designs
  • Attend customer meetings and maintain CRM accuracy
  • Stay updated on new products and technologies
  • Provide reports to senior management
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Oversee personnel assisting with event execution
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Monitor events and check on customers
  • Enforce employee and venue standards
  • Apply technical skills to troubleshoot and guide technicians
  • Utilize company computer systems effectively
  • Act as on-site technical expert
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • Manage performance, staffing, and team development
  • Handle human resources activities including selection and learning
  • Coach team members on skills and standards
  • Train employees on service and equipment
  • Recommend training opportunities
