Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of audio visual experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of audio visual equipment in live show environment
  • Ability to complete Level 3 Skills training
  • Proficiency in computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Focus on customer satisfaction
  • Valid driver's license when operating company vehicle

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels emphasizing customer retention
  • Service events and act as a point of escalation when needed
  • Identify key issues and decision makers influencing contract renewal and facilitate planning efforts
  • Consult with venue sales leadership on sales strategies
  • Participate in business review presentations
  • Manage efficient and profitable operations focusing on revenue maximization and cost control
  • Achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment rentals, and other costs
  • Utilize operational and financial reports and complete standard and ad hoc reports accurately
  • Coordinate invoicing activities ensuring billing approval by clients
  • Complete timely and accurate sales forecasts
  • Manage location profit and loss and develop action plans to grow the business
  • Direct daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups
  • Ensure all equipment and services are delivered on time and meet brand standards
  • Anticipate equipment challenges professionally
  • Maintain inventory control ensuring safety and quality assurance
  • Share labor and equipment efficiently within the local market
  • Attend operational venue meetings
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment and software issues promptly
  • Utilize company computer systems effectively
  • Act as solo on-site technician if necessary
  • Maximize revenue through upselling and cross-selling
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
  • Present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Attend site visits and planning meetings to support customer events
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to secure events
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines
  • Maintain accurate customer information in CRM
  • Stay informed about new products, services, and technology
  • Provide world-class service exceeding customer expectations
  • Oversee personnel assisting event execution
  • Meet guests on site to ensure equipment setup accuracy
  • Monitor venues and customer needs during events
  • Promote a polished and professional image
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Manage team performance, staffing, and development
  • Administer human resources functions including selection, performance management, and learning
  • Provide coaching and training on service standards and systems
  • Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
