Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years audio visual experience
  • At least 1 year supervisory experience
  • Preferred 2 years customer service or hospitality experience
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Knowledge of audio visual equipment in live environments
  • Completion of Level 3 Skills training
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and software
  • Effective leadership skills
  • Customer satisfaction oriented
  • Valid driver's license for vehicle operation

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of audio visual experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment
  • Ability to complete Level 3 Skills training successfully
  • Proficiency with computer hardware
  • Proficiency with software including Internet and Microsoft Office
  • Effective leadership abilities
  • Strong customer satisfaction focus
  • Valid driver's license for team members operating company vehicles

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels of their organization and provide outstanding customer service while focusing on customer retention
  • Service events and act as a point of escalation when needed
  • Identify key issues and decision makers that will influence contract renewal and leverage internal resources to facilitate planning
  • Consult with Venue Sales Leadership on sales strategies
  • Participate in business review presentations
  • Manage an efficient and profitable operation focusing on revenue maximization and cost control
  • Achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment sub-rentals, and other costs
  • Utilize operational and financial reports accurately for standard and ad hoc reports
  • Coordinate invoicing activities and ensure billing approval
  • Complete accurate and timely sales forecasts
  • Manage location P&L and develop action plans to address deficiencies and grow business
  • Confirm timely payment processing by venue partners
  • Perform and direct daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups, operation, and strikes
  • Ensure equipment and services are delivered on time and meet brand standards
  • Anticipate equipment challenges and changes professionally
  • Maintain inventory control and ensure safety, security, and quality assurance
  • Share labor and equipment efficiently within the local market
  • Attend daily operational venue meetings
  • Apply technical troubleshooting and problem solving for equipment and software issues
  • Utilize company computer systems effectively
  • Act as solo on-site technician when necessary
  • Create strategies to maximize revenue per event including upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to customers
  • Attend site visits and planning meetings to support customer events
  • Collaborate with vendors and company departments to service events
  • Understand event cost structures in solution designs
  • Maintain customer information accuracy in CRM
  • Stay updated on new products and technologies
  • Provide world-class service and cultivate relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • Oversee personnel for event execution
  • Exceed customer expectations
  • Ensure equipment setup is accurate and functioning
  • Monitor small venues and customer needs
  • Maintain professional image and ensure team standards
