Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years audio visual experience
  • 1+ years supervisory experience
  • 2+ years customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • working knowledge of live show audio visual equipment
  • must complete Level 3 skills training
  • proficiency in computer hardware and software
  • effective leadership skills
  • valid driver’s license for vehicle operation
  • ability to work irregular hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to meet physical demands including lifting and standing
  • commitment to company appearance and professional standards

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of audio visual experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • sales experience is a plus
  • working knowledge of audio visual equipment in a live show environment
  • successful completion of Level 3 skills training
  • proficiency with computer hardware
  • proficiency with software including Internet and Microsoft Office
  • effective leadership abilities
  • customer satisfaction focus
  • valid driver’s license for those operating company vehicles

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships at all organizational levels
  • service events and escalate issues when necessary
  • identify key decision makers for contract renewals
  • consult with venue sales leadership on strategies
  • participate in business review presentations
  • manage efficient and profitable operations focusing on revenue maximization
  • achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment, and costs
  • utilize operational and financial reports accurately
  • coordinate billing and invoicing activities
  • complete accurate sales forecasts
  • manage location profit and loss and action plans
  • confirm timely payments from venue partners
  • oversee daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups
  • ensure timely delivery and proper functioning of equipment
  • anticipate equipment challenges and adjust plans
  • maintain inventory control and safety
  • share labor and equipment within the local market
  • attend operational venue meetings
  • apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to technical issues
  • act as solo on-site technician when necessary
  • create strategies to maximize per-event revenue including upsells
  • prepare and present quotes and proposals timely
  • attend site visits and planning meetings
  • collaborate with vendors and internal departments
  • incorporate cost structure in solution designs
  • attend customer meetings to address concerns
  • keep accurate CRM records
  • stay updated on new products and technology
  • present reports to senior management
  • cultivate relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • oversee personnel assisting event execution
  • exceed internal and external customer expectations
  • meet guests on site to ensure needs and setups are met
  • monitor small venues and check on customers
  • maintain polished professional image
  • promote culture of high performance and continuous improvement
  • embrace company core values
  • manage performance and staffing
  • oversee HR activities including selection and training
  • provide coaching and development
