Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years in audiovisual roles
  • At least 1 year supervisory experience
  • Preferred 2 years customer service or hospitality experience
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Proficiency in computer hardware and software
  • Valid driver’s license if required
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job including lifting up to 100 lbs
  • Willingness to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Over 3 years of audiovisual experience
  • More than 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Preferred 2+ years of customer service or hospitality experience
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of audiovisual equipment in a live environment
  • Completion of Level 3 Skills training
  • Proficiency with computer hardware
  • Proficiency with software including Internet and Microsoft Office
  • Strong leadership skills and customer satisfaction focus
  • Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Service events and act as point of escalation
  • Identify key issues to influence contract renewal and facilitate planning
  • Consult with Venue Sales Leadership on sales strategies
  • Participate in business review presentations
  • Manage an efficient and profitable operation focusing on revenue maximization and cost control
  • Achieve financial goals by managing labor, equipment rentals, and costs
  • Utilize operational and financial reports
  • Coordinate invoicing activities
  • Complete accurate and timely sales forecasts
  • Manage location P&L and develop action plans
  • Confirm timely payment processes
  • Direct daily floor operations including scheduling and equipment setups
  • Ensure timely delivery of equipment and services meeting brand standards
  • Anticipate equipment challenges
  • Maintain proper inventory levels and safety
  • Share labor and equipment efficiently in the local market
  • Attend operational venue meetings
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and apply problem-solving skills
  • Use company computer systems effectively
  • Act as solo on-site technician if necessary
  • Create strategies to maximize event revenue including upsell and cross-sell
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals
  • Attend site visits and planning meetings
  • Collaborate with vendors and departments
  • Understand event cost structures
  • Maintain accurate CRM data
  • Stay informed on new product offerings
  • Provide world-class customer service
  • Oversee personnel assisting with event execution
  • Meet guest needs on-site
  • Monitor small venues and customer check-ins
  • Promote a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Manage team performance and staffing
  • Conduct HR activities including selection and performance management
  • Provide coaching and training
  • Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
