Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • minimum 5 years of relevant experience including management
  • experience in hotel or related field
  • trade license preferred
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • knowledge of maintenance and engineering principles

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a related field including prior management experience
  • experience in a hotel or related field is required with a trade license preferred
  • strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • financial acumen and ability to manage budgets
  • proficiency in project management and maintenance scheduling

Job Duties

  • Direct and supervise maintenance staff overseeing maintenance of buildings and grounds
  • apply extensive experience in engineering and maintenance to ensure efficient operations
  • evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately handling problems in high-pressure situations
  • convey information and ideas clearly and effectively listen to and understand issues raised by co-workers and guests
  • work with and understand financial information and data including basic arithmetic functions to support maintenance operations
  • develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance requests schedule maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations
