Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience in food service management in healthcare setting
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain upon hire
- ability to comply with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
- strong leadership and communication skills
- proficiency in computer applications relevant to food service management
- ability to work full time in Jonesboro, GA location
Job Qualifications
- Current ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- 2-3 years cooking and managing food service in addiction treatment center, hospital, or healthcare setting
- strong knowledge of large scale and therapeutic food preparation
- solid leadership and supervisory skills
- proficiency in basic computer skills including Outlook Email, Microsoft Office, OnCare, and Meal Tracker
Job Duties
- Schedule and assign staff
- prepare and process department payroll and new hire paperwork
- ensure food service operates within budgetary guidelines
- manage ordering and purchasing
- maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and survey inspection processes
- train, supervise, and evaluate dietary staff
- oversee sanitation and cleaning of kitchen, storage, dining areas, and equipment
- perform other job-related duties
