Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years experience in food service management in healthcare setting
  • ServSafe certification or ability to obtain upon hire
  • ability to comply with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency in computer applications relevant to food service management
  • ability to work full time in Jonesboro, GA location

Job Qualifications

  • Current ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • 2-3 years cooking and managing food service in addiction treatment center, hospital, or healthcare setting
  • strong knowledge of large scale and therapeutic food preparation
  • solid leadership and supervisory skills
  • proficiency in basic computer skills including Outlook Email, Microsoft Office, OnCare, and Meal Tracker

Job Duties

  • Schedule and assign staff
  • prepare and process department payroll and new hire paperwork
  • ensure food service operates within budgetary guidelines
  • manage ordering and purchasing
  • maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and survey inspection processes
  • train, supervise, and evaluate dietary staff
  • oversee sanitation and cleaning of kitchen, storage, dining areas, and equipment
  • perform other job-related duties
