Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • minimum 5 years of hotel development, sales & marketing, and/or operations experience
  • experience in hotel real estate or development
  • strong understanding of hotel franchise brands and market dynamics
  • excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • proven ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
  • skilled problem-solver with sound judgment and accountability
  • must be able to travel up to 50% of the time (valid driver's license required)

Job Duties

  • Identify opportunities to grow the Coast Hotels brand
  • support planning and change initiatives with the Senior Vice President, Development and other key company leaders
  • stay up to date on hotel industry trends, competitors, and new developments
  • represent Coast Hotels at industry events and build professional relationships
  • ensure strategies and projects align with Coast Hotels' brand standards
  • support and review franchise and management agreements
  • visit and evaluate hotels to ensure brand consistency and operational excellence
  • build and maintain strong partnerships with franchise and management teams
  • assist in solving operational challenges and improving performance across properties
  • promote Coast Hotels' values and positive workplace culture
  • support franchise partners in meeting Coast's People & Culture expectations
  • build strong working relationships through clear communication and collaboration
  • encourage engagement and recognition among teams and partners
  • represent Coast Hotels positively in the community and support local initiatives
