Job Requirements
- Five or more years culinary experience in hospitality industry
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Food handlers permit as required by state law and/or company standards
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to comply with company motor vehicle policy standards
- Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers or employees
- Position may require driving responsibilities using company or personal vehicle

Job Duties
- Manage and supervise all culinary services staff including scheduling, assignments, direction, performance reviews, hiring, and corrective actions
- Meet regularly with residents and family members to ensure high satisfaction
- Collaborate with restaurant manager or coordinator to provide exceptional customer service and create restaurant-style dining atmosphere
- Ensure front of house and back of house staff work together to exceed food quality expectations
- Assist kitchen and restaurant staff in front and back of house operations as needed
- Maintain customer satisfaction and quality enhancement levels with executive director and frontline staff
- Delegate tasks to maintain cleanliness and quality in kitchen and dining areas
- Ensure food preparation, storage, and service meet company and health code standards
- Maintain employee satisfaction scores
- Interview and hire culinary services staff
- Conduct monthly meetings and in-services
- Manage and maintain monthly and annual budgets for food, supplies, and labor including documentation
- Develop recipes and menus with staff and residents based on preferences and budgets
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and vendor relationships
- Plan and execute Engage Life events, banquets, and theme meals
- Work with sales director and community staff to market the community via special food events
- Ensure staff understands company expectations and appearance standards
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested
