Job Requirements

  • Ability to frequently remain stationary and move throughout the CRC environment
  • ability to operate a computer and office equipment routinely
  • occasional ability to lift up to 10 lbs and assist with light movement of supplies or materials
  • must communicate effectively in person and by phone with neighbors, partners, and staff
  • comfort in high-traffic and diverse community settings
  • travel required 0-20%
  • legal right to work in the United States
  • successful completion of background check, drug screening, physical examination, and employment verification
  • Serve Safe Certification or ability to obtain within six months
  • adherence to organizational policies and applicable laws

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services, nonprofit management, public administration, business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • five or more years of program or operations management experience in social-service, community-based, or nonprofit environments preferred
  • demonstrated experience supervising staff and leading service delivery or site-based operations required
  • experience with food distribution, community resource navigation, or compliance-regulated environments preferred
  • Serve Safe Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months required
  • commitment to increasing access to food bank and wraparound services for neighbors impacted by poverty and hunger
  • respectful engagement with diverse neighbors
  • ability to work closely with diverse populations

Job Duties

  • Provide day-to-day operational oversight for all CRC activities ensuring smooth workflows and efficient service delivery
  • be a champion for supporting neighbors seeking services ensuring beneficial and impactful offerings
  • supervise and support the Community Access Team to ensure effective navigation and engagement
  • supervise and support the Market Services Team overseeing food distribution operations including inventory flow, food safety, and equitable access
  • oversee coordination of onsite partner schedules and space use maintaining collaborative relationships
  • support volunteer experience team identifying volunteer opportunities and challenges
  • assist with development and monitoring of the CRC operating budget managing resources responsibly
  • monitor and support compliance with feeding America, USDA, ODJFS, and other regulatory requirements
  • work with Facilities, Safety, and Security to maintain a safe and functional environment
  • contribute to short- and mid-term planning defining priorities and service models
  • identify opportunities to strengthen and expand onsite services
  • use data and community feedback to recommend program adjustments and workflow improvements
  • ensure partner lease agreements are followed
  • serve as a thought partner on future CRC service delivery and community access work
