Job Requirements
- Current RN or LVN/LPN license maintained in good standing
- Minimum two to five years prior clinical/dialysis management experience
- Three years experience with adult education or knowledge of adult learning principles
- Extensive knowledge of dialysis industry standards and ESRD regulations
- CNN or CHN certification to be obtained within two years
- CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Excellent leadership and team building skills
- Strong communication skills with physicians and agencies
- Analytical skills to read, write, and analyze reports
- Ability to manage multiple locations and direct reports
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and clinical applications
Job Qualifications
- Current RN or LVN/LPN license
- Minimum two to five years clinical/dialysis management experience at multi-site healthcare provider
- Three years experience in adult education preferred
- Knowledge of dialysis industry standards and ESRD regulations
- CNN or CHN certification required within two years of hire
- CPR certification required within 90 days
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Excellent leadership, team building, and coaching skills
- Strong public relations skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and staff
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in company clinical applications within 90 days
Job Duties
- Oversee guidance provided to facility teams by Clinical Specialists within assigned regions
- Work with regional operations management to assist with the opening of denovo facilities and transitioning acquired facilities
- Evaluate trends in clinical data and provide guidance for effective resource use and risk reduction
- Evaluate readmissions, hospitalizations, and catheter rates to improve treatment and reduce infections
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality of care processes for program regulatory compliance
- Ensure clinical processes comply with company policy and federal, state, and local regulations
- Report audit findings and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken
- Assist with development of quality goals and measures and impact clinical outcomes positively
- Oversee Clinical Specialists to achieve patient outcome goals at assigned clinics
- Conduct internal clinical audits and ensure clinics remain compliant
- Provide guidance on ESRD Emergency Preparedness regulations
- Communicate deficiencies identified during audits and surveys to management
- Participate in policy and procedure committee for clinical policies
- Review incident report trends and identify educational opportunities
- Participate in disaster planning and response
- Serve as regional resource for involuntary discharges and grievance management
- Lead and promote company mission, ethics, and safety standards
- Maintain collaborative relationships with facility administrators, physicians, and state agencies
- Develop and implement staff training and professional development programs
- Supervise hiring and manage performance of clinical services staff
- Uphold team building and management goals
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
