Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of science degree in marketing, business, management, finance or related aviation fields
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial aviation industry experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of customer relationship management experience
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent training
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40 percent
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Passport and vaccinations required for international travel
  • Event management experience preferred
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in marketing, business, management, finance or related aviation fields
  • Master of Science in Management or MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial aviation industry experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of customer relationship management experience
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent training
  • Industry knowledge in aviation, oil and gas, and emerging markets
  • Preferably P&L management experience
  • Tender and contract management skills preferred
  • Strong business and financial acumen with excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • High impact written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated with minimal oversight
  • Strong organizational skills including vigilance, organization, and time management
  • Capable of working under pressure with conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
  • Event management experience preferred
  • Strong IT fluency and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Must have passport and required vaccinations for international travel and assignments

Job Duties

  • Participates in formulating the company’s near-term and long-range goals and objectives and the plans and programs directed toward their achievement
  • Develop annual plan for current accounts and new prospects aligned to business unit strategy
  • Manage the opportunity pipeline including renewals and extensions
  • Aid with standardized processes and procedures for key commercial growth activities
  • Develop foundational knowledge of PHI’s services, systems, processes, and customers through collaboration with management and business unit leaders
  • Prepare updates for business unit leadership and stakeholder groups, identify and track relevant objectives and key results
  • Gather business intelligence, organize it, and compose reports and business cases
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to business development and commercial projects
  • Research market activity and identify target customers
  • Develop, manage, and execute account plans for assigned accounts
  • Support existing and new growth in the oil and gas and renewables business sectors within the Americas
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Travel domestically and internationally to support business development and commercial strategy
