Job Requirements

  • Four plus years of event planning experience
  • Bachelor's degree in event management marketing or related field
  • Deep knowledge of event planning logistics budget management and project management
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in event management software such as Cvent Eventbrite Salesforce
  • Familiarity with event marketing and promotion tactics including social media and email marketing

Job Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of event planning logistics budget management and project management
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and team management skills

  • Familiarity with event marketing and promotion tactics including social media and email marketing

Job Duties

  • Direct day-to-day floor operations of technicians including set and strike and scheduling
  • Manage efficient and profitable AV and Business Center operations
  • Focus on revenue maximization and cost control
  • Manage onsite inventory according to company standards
  • Maintain and cultivate positive public relations with hotel accounts
  • Maintain positive employee relations
  • Utilize company business software effectively
  • Ensure billing is reviewed and approved by clients
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor for self and team
  • Supervise security, inventory control, transportation and maintenance of equipment
  • Ensure employees are properly trained
  • Implement the Experiential Method
  • Provide outstanding customer service and establish excellent working relationships with clients and vendors
  • Meet with guests onsite to ensure needs are met
  • Supervise and mentor staff for client satisfaction and revenue maximization
  • Promote a positive working environment and core values
  • Manage performance, address employee concerns, and facilitate team development
  • Lead professional development and training efforts
  • Complete standard and as-needed reports accurately and on-time
