Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate aviation operations
  • At least five years of leadership experience managing multi-departmental teams
  • Proven experience in budget management and financial oversight
  • Demonstrated ability in project management for large-scale, concurrent initiatives
  • In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance (FAA, OSHA, EPA)
  • Strong skills in negotiating and managing tenant contracts
  • Exceptional communication skills in English
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 operation
  • Capability to pass pre-employment safety and security screenings

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years in corporate aviation operations
  • At least five years leading multi-departmental teams
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets, financial controls, and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to design and implement training programs for service quality and operational efficiency
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance including FAA, OSHA, EPA, and airport authority regulations
  • Strong stakeholder management skills including contract negotiation and vendor partnership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Spanish proficiency is a strong plus

Job Duties

  • Lead and align all FBO departments to Jet Aviation's safety, quality, and service excellence standards, embedding values of trust, honesty, alignment, and transparency into daily operations
  • Orchestrate concurrent projects and initiatives such as hangar expansions, training rollouts, sustainability efforts, ensuring timely delivery and seamless coordination across teams
  • Drive financial performance through rigorous budget management, KPI tracking, and continuous process optimization
  • Oversee fuel farm operations, enforcing rigorous safety protocols, inventory controls, and environmental compliance
  • Cultivate a customer-centric environment by partnering with sales, marketing, and charter teams to anticipate needs and elevate guest experiences
  • Develop and mentor leaders and front-line staff, fostering a high-impact culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth
  • Negotiate, manage, and enforce FBO tenant contracts, ensuring alignment with Jet Aviation and airport authority requirements
  • Represent Jet Aviation in industry forums, regulatory agencies, and the General Dynamics network as a brand ambassador
