Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work full-time or part-time as needed
- willingness to provide hands-on support to adults with developmental disabilities
- ability to follow training and procedures
- valid California driver license for positions requiring transportation
- current auto insurance and reliable vehicle for roles involving client transport
- clear background check and drug screening
- good communication skills
- physical ability to assist with personal care and mobility
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- compassionate and patient nature
- ability to communicate effectively
- willingness to undergo training
- valid California driver license preferred for roles requiring transportation
- experience in caregiving or direct support work is a plus
- basic knowledge of developmental disabilities helpful
Job Duties
- provide direct, in-home support to adults with developmental disabilities
- assist clients with activities of daily living including eating, bathing, toileting, and cleaning
- encourage client independence and active participation in daily tasks
- accompany clients to community activities, appointments, and social outings
- maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
- communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors
- document and report client progress and incidents
