Job Requirements

  • at least 18 years old
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 6+ months of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD)
  • previous experience in training, habilitation, or development of individuals with IDD is preferred
  • familiarity with clerical tasks such as data entry, organizing files, and using computers for administrative functions
  • technology experience with computers, tablets, and basic IT tools
  • knowledge of customer service practices, food preparation, or event coordination
  • interest or experience in arts, crafts, woodworking, or graphic design
  • background in social or life skills training, community planning, or recreational activities

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • provide direct support to individuals with disabilities by implementing personalized support plans
  • teach essential skills like job readiness, social skills, and community engagement
  • create a safe and inclusive environment while ensuring cleanliness and following safety procedures
  • communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and service coordinators to ensure each individual's needs are met
  • complete documentation, including incident reports, and assist with goal-setting assessments
