Hummingbird Care Home is a dedicated provider of residential and supported living services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must have approved Background Clearance Application through State Background Check Unit
- Must have current valid state-issued photo ID or driver's license and secondary ID such as Social Security card or birth certificate
- Must provide three professional references
- Must have adequate verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to complete and maintain essential training and certifications
- Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant work experience
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Familiarity with TherapCurrent OIS preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Job Duties
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living including hygiene and meal preparation
- Provide mobility support and facilitate community integration
- Implement behavioral supports as needed
- Complete required documentation accurately and timely
- Participate in trainings and maintain certifications
- Collaborate with team members and healthcare professionals
- Support individuals in both group homes and their own residences
