Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- valid Arkansas Driver's License if driving
- First Aid and CPR certification within first 90 days and maintained
- ability to lift and transfer individuals according to guidelines
- Saturday and Sunday availability
- ability to work 8pm to 8am shift
- compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations
- ability to complete annual training and self-study
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, crouching and lifting up to 30 pounds
- adherence to vehicle safety procedures when driving
- professional dress appropriate to position
Job Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- ability to solve practical problems using limited standardization
- ability to interpret written, verbal, diagram, or schedule instructions
- valid Arkansas Driver's License if required to drive
- First Aid and CPR certification within 90 days of employment
Job Duties
- Implement individual treatment, education and behavioral plans
- ensure all individuals remain engaged in meaningful activities
- record accurate and detailed documentation of progress and health and safety
- maintain a safe and organized training area
- address challenging behaviors proactively using positive behavior intervention
- assist individuals in educational, recreational, social and community activities
- monitor health and safety of individuals at all times
