Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in direct care or related fields is preferred
  • Ability to provide compassionate and patient care
  • Must be able to follow detailed care and behavior plans
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow behavior plans accurately
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Provide full personal care and support to clients living in the home
  • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation and companionship
  • Help with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises
  • Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
  • Participate in recreational activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies
  • Implement behavior plans to support consumer needs
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication related to client care
