Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of relevant experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation
- Completion of all required state training and certification
- Ability to work scheduled shifts including evenings or nights
- Ability to perform heavy physical work
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to use a personal cell phone for business purposes with stipend provided
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Completion of all state-required training and certification within mandated timeframes
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individual rights
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
Job Duties
- Attends orientation and ongoing training as directed
- Participates in monthly staff meetings
- Works scheduled hours, arrives on time, and notifies supervisor if unable to work
- Provides direct support in accordance with individual service plans
- Accurately documents progress, activities, and billing information
- Assists with money management and protects individuals' assets
- Maintains professional relationships with individuals, families, and case managers
- Reports any instance of abuse or neglect promptly
- Administers medications and treatments when assigned
- Monitors general health and follows healthcare directives
- Prepares or supports preparation of meals according to dietary plans
- Performs housekeeping, minor repairs, and reports hazards
- Drives safely when transporting individuals and reports accidents
- Participates in safety drills and adheres to safety policies
- Performs other related duties as required
