Job Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must possess a valid DOT card with CDL Class B License
- 2-3+ years experience operating a 26ft box truck, preferably in metropolitan areas
- Experience using forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- Prior Direct Store Delivery Driver experience preferred
- Ability to reach above shoulder level, climb, balance, kneel, bend over
- Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble small objects
- Physically active for 8 hours without fatigue
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
- Frequently lift and move 40+ pounds
- Occasionally lift and move 75+ pounds
- Frequently push 300-400 lbs on a rolling cart
- Occasional flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime
Job Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license
- Minimum 2-3 years experience operating a 26ft box truck in metropolitan areas
- Experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- Prior experience as a Direct Store Delivery Driver preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Familiarity with vehicle inspection and maintenance procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods
- Good organizational and time management skills
Job Duties
- Safely operate a 26ft box truck while remaining compliant with DOT regulations
- Load and unload products safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and occasionally by hand
- Make deliveries in Washington DC, New York City, and Philadelphia on a weekly basis with flexible scheduling
- Stock and stage delivered products as directed by Cafe Managers, District Managers, and Warehouse Operations Manager
- Communicate changes in delivery schedules and coordinate with relevant parties
- Verify delivery accuracy by checking invoices and picklists
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips ensuring safety and maintenance
- Assist fulfillment teams with picking, shipping orders and replenishing pick locations
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling
- Utilize effective communication to report setbacks or cargo issues
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA, state, and local commercial vehicle regulations
- Carry out additional duties as assigned
