Job Requirements
- 2-3+ years experience operating a 26ft box truck preferably in a metropolitan area
- must have a clean driving record
- must possess a valid DOT card with a CDL Class B license
- must have experience using forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- prior experience as a direct store delivery driver preferred
- ability to reach above shoulder level, climb, balance, kneel, bend over
- ability to use hands and fingers to assemble small objects and boxes
- be physically active for 8 hours without fatigue
- stand for 8+ hours a day
- frequently lift and move 40+ pounds
- occasionally lift and move 75+ pounds
- frequently push 300-400 lbs on a rolling cart sometimes at an incline
Job Qualifications
- 2-3+ years experience operating a 26ft box truck preferably in metropolitan areas
- clean driving record
- valid DOT card with CDL Class B license
- experience using forklifts and electric pallet jacks
- prior experience as a direct store delivery driver preferred
Job Duties
- Safely operate a 26ft box truck while remaining compliant with DOT regulations
- load and unload products safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and occasionally by hand
- make one or more deliveries in DC, NYC and two or more deliveries in Philadelphia weekly
- stock and stage delivered product as specified by managers
- deliver all products timely and communicate any delivery changes
- verify invoices and picklists to ensure delivery accuracy
- obey traffic laws and drive safely according to weather and road conditions
- comply with FMCSA, state, and local vehicle regulations and company safety policies
- inspect vehicles before and after trips for safety
- assist fulfillment teams with picking, shipping, and replenishing orders
- operate forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling
- communicate setbacks, delivery changes, or cargo issues effectively
- offer scheduling flexibility including evenings, weekends, and overtime
- perform other assigned duties as needed
