Job Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required
- Selective Service registration required for males born after 12/31/1959

- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Noncritical sensitive security investigation may be required
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs ladders up to 100 feet
- Ability to bend or stoop for extended periods
- Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions including extreme weather
- Willingness to work rotating shifts weekends and holidays
- Ability to travel away from home up to 75 percent of the time

Job Qualifications
- Document 3 years of full time general work experience with basic knowledge of electronics mathematics computers aeronautics or related areas for F band
- Document 1 year of full time specialized work experience with practical knowledge of electronics electricity computer systems telecommunications and system integration for well qualified F band
- Document 1 year of specialized work experience with extensive knowledge of electronics and ability to use test equipment for G band
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 year course in computer science mathematics electronics physical sciences information management engineering telecommunications or related field
- Provide examples and detailed work experience in resume
- Documentation of Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 years of higher-level graduate education for G band
- Combine experience and education totaling 100 percent to qualify
- Knowledge of basic electronics and electro-mechanical theory
- Basic experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic and mechanical systems
- Ability to apply knowledge to diagnose electronic equipment
- Experience with specialized radar navigation communication automation and environmental systems
- Knowledge of algebra trigonometry and physics
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Job Duties
- Perform basic progressively difficult assignments with academic and on-the-job instruction
- Acquire and apply basic technical knowledge to accomplish assignments
- Perform coordination operation repair installation maintenance troubleshooting modification flight check certification and documentation activities on ATSS systems
- Exercise full maintenance and operational responsibility for single or multiple integrated systems at G band
- Utilize and interpret FAA orders technical manuals manufacturer instructions and other publications to complete complex assignments
- Apply practical judgment and discretion in selecting methods to complete work
- Adhere to safety procedures and use electronic test equipment and personal protective equipment
