Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience
- Proven leadership experience for five years or more
- Direct foodservice operational management experience for two to four years
- Knowledge of inventory and purchasing control
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and quality standards
- Ability to manage budgets and operate within financial guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of additional experience
- Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise
- Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
- Strong knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- Knowledge of profit and loss accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- Must be forward thinking, proactive, and the face of the company
Job Duties
- Operate the department in accordance with the approved budget while providing maximum value for dollars spent
- Ensure the food offered is of superior quality
- Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs
- Maintain excellent relationships with guests, clients, and other departments within the community
- Promote professional growth and development of the entire team
- Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility plan of operations
