Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a kitchen environment
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lead and manage a kitchen team
  • Proficiency with computer systems related to ordering and inventory
  • Physical stamina to stand and lift moderate weight
  • California Food Handlers Certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
  • Commitment to excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • At least two years of previous supervisor experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Produce consistent quality culinary products that meet guest needs in a timely manner
  • Supervise hourly cooks and provide coaching when necessary
  • Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Chef de Cuisine
  • Monitor payroll costs and overtime effectively
  • Order storeroom requisitions and manage inventory
  • Communicate with sales and vendors regarding product orders
  • Assist in department training and lead kitchen team through service
