Job Requirements
- At least one (1) year of experience as a prep cook or line cook
- food handler’s or serve safe certification required
- weekend availability required
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- ability to stand and move quickly for the duration of the shift
- ability to lift up to 30 lbs

- strong understanding of food preparation, recipes, and portion control
- ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- excellent multitasking and time management skills
- detail-oriented and organized with strong follow-through
- capable of following instructions and maintaining consistency
- basic math skills for recipe measurements and portioning
Job Duties
- Prepare food items according to recipes, portion sizes, and company standards
- cook all menu items to proper specifications with accuracy and timeliness
- use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, grills, ovens, steamers, and slicers
- maintain proper food temperatures, storage, and labeling in accordance with all health and food safety regulations
- monitor the freshness, quality, and presentation of all food items
- complete prep lists, opening and closing tasks, and other daily checklists as assigned
- keep workstations, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and fully stocked
- follow waste control procedures and record waste and production data accurately
- label, date, and store all products according to company guidelines
- wash, chop, and prepare ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, and meats
- clean dishes, utensils, cookware, and maintain general kitchen cleanliness
- work collaboratively with managers, cooks, runners, and hotel staff in a professional and respectful manner
- assist with inventory counts and other kitchen operations as needed
- follow all company policies and procedures
