Job Requirements
- Prior dining supervisory experience is required
- Full-time availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Capability to comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
- Must be able to work in a healthcare environment
- Willingness to undergo required background checks and maintain drug-free workplace compliance
- Proficiency in handling food safety procedures
- Must be able to perform essential job functions satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Duties
- Responsible for Nutrition Operators, Workstation and Wait Staff Associates
- Oversees systems and processes to ensure the strategic and operational objectives of the Dining on Call service are accomplished
- Assists in selection, orientation, and training of Dining on Call staff
- Works with Nutrition Operators to accommodate menu alternatives based on dietary restrictions, allergies, and cultural preferences
- Evaluates patient meal selections, tray completion, delivery and retrieval daily
- Resolves patient concerns and communicates issues to supervisors promptly
- Maintains compliance with dietary restrictions and regulatory health and safety standards
- Develops and posts employee schedules according to department policy
- Coordinates daily and weekly tasks of Dining on Call staff
- Communicates job flow changes and interacts with nursing staff to ensure diet accuracy
- Submits documentation, reports, and logs timely and professionally
- Visits patients on nursing units to ensure dining satisfaction
- Follows HACCP guidelines in handling food supplies
- Performs other duties as assigned
