Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of two years food service experience
- minimum of one year supervisory experience
- Serv-Safe certification
- ability to coordinate routine responsibilities of staff with available resources
- ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with coworkers and other departments
- ability to provide clear directions and respond accordingly to employees
- ability to use a computer
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to perform moderate physical labor including lifting up to 25 pounds
- patience and understanding when dealing with residents and employees
- professional appearance and attitude
- must be able to read, speak and write English

Job Duties
- understands, follows and enforces all policies and procedures
- understands diet orders in regard to Springmoor's policies and resident's rights
- performs day-to-day assignments in addition to oversight duties
- monitors employee productivity and provides directions for increased service or productivity
- responsible for the oversight of day-to-day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities as directed by on-site management
- hold subordinates accountable for set expectations
- responsible for orientation and training of new employees
- meets with customers to ensure satisfaction in food quality and service
- attends all meetings and trainings provided by Sodexo management and Springmoor
- promotes the development of the food service team
- assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
- complies with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures
- complies with all state regulations
- reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner
- complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures
- may perform other duties and responsibilities wherever needed within the dining service department
