Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Culinary degree or ACF certification preferred
  • Serve Safe Managers Certification required
  • Ability to manage multiple kitchen stations and production tasks
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance
  • Compliance with food safety codes and company procedures
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 70 lbs
  • Valid driver's license
  • CPR certification
  • Food Protection Manager Certification
  • Food Handler Certification
  • Alcohol Server/Seller Certification

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or higher
  • Culinary degree or ACF certification preferred
  • Serve Safe Managers Certification required
  • Advanced knowledge of professional culinary practices and techniques
  • Experience in supervising kitchen operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff
  • Strong teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Supervises and coordinates production of food according to menu specifications and culinary training
  • Assists in food inventories
  • Communicates and oversees food and supplies ordering to the purchaser
  • Assists chefs and cooks in preparation of cuisine
  • Inspects quality of food products and informs chef when quality is not acceptable
  • Ensures cuisine served meets established portion, quality, appearance, and palatability guidelines
  • Checks physical cleanliness of operations and ensures all staff practice clean as you go
  • Maintains proper working order of all kitchen equipment and reports deficiencies
  • Performs duties of Chef de Cuisine in absences of senior kitchen leadership
  • Delivers 'I Am Proud' service standards and department-specific signature touch points
  • Establishes cross-departmental communication among teammates
  • Ensures smooth service and adherence to food codes
  • Complies with company policies, safety, and training guidelines
  • Upholds resort brand, culture, vision, mission, and values
  • Provides guest/member fond farewell
  • Maintains professional appearance and attentiveness
  • Performs other duties as assigned
