Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent education, training, and experience
  • minimum two years of experience in office administration or human resources recruitment, onboarding, or training
  • at least three years of supervisory experience
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • flexibility and adaptability
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • understanding of employment law
  • ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • commitment to diversity and inclusion

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • two years of experience in office administration or human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and training
  • three years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • ability to work effectively with diverse faculty, staff, administrators, and students
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • knowledge of employment law related to human resources
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
  • commitment to multicultural and inclusive environments

Job Duties

  • Recruit, interview, and onboard student employees for 15 dining venues
  • develop and implement ongoing training programs for dining staff
  • assess staffing needs and manage budgets across multiple food service locations
  • maintain staff assignments and track recruiting and training efforts
  • supervise classified staff and student employees involved in recruiting and training
  • collaborate with Human Resources to ensure compliance with hiring policies
  • act as a consultant to dining management on employee coordination and department operations
