Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent education, training, and experience
- minimum two years of experience in office administration or human resources recruitment, onboarding, or training
- at least three years of supervisory experience
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- flexibility and adaptability
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- understanding of employment law
- ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- commitment to diversity and inclusion
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- two years of experience in office administration or human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and training
- three years of supervisory or team leadership experience
- ability to work effectively with diverse faculty, staff, administrators, and students
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- knowledge of employment law related to human resources
- ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
- commitment to multicultural and inclusive environments
Job Duties
- Recruit, interview, and onboard student employees for 15 dining venues
- develop and implement ongoing training programs for dining staff
- assess staffing needs and manage budgets across multiple food service locations
- maintain staff assignments and track recruiting and training efforts
- supervise classified staff and student employees involved in recruiting and training
- collaborate with Human Resources to ensure compliance with hiring policies
- act as a consultant to dining management on employee coordination and department operations
