Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- two years experience in office administration or human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, training, or other HR administration areas
- three years experience supervising or leading the work of others
- ability to work effectively with diverse faculty, staff, administrators, and students
- ability to communicate with respect, concern, and responsiveness
- ability to work independently and in teams
- flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities
- strong organizational and prioritization skills
- understanding of employment law applicable to human resources
- ability to handle competing priorities and work under stress
- high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- commitment to social justice and inclusion
- ability to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships

Job Duties
- lead hiring team to recruit, interview, onboard, and train student dining service employees
- develop ongoing training programs and leadership opportunities for staff growth
- assess staffing needs and budgets for multiple campus dining venues
- develop and implement recruiting plans to maintain adequate staffing
- manage classified dining staff assignments and track recruiting needs
- provide consultation to dining management on department coordination
- resolve operational and staffing issues proactively to maintain efficiency
