Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- One year experience in nursing home, hospital, or hospitality setting preferred
- Food service experience preferred
- Serve-safe certification within six months of employment
- Able to stand or walk short distances for long periods regularly
- Able to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance
- Able to work in varying temperatures
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach at different angles
- Ability to operate equipment and demonstrate necessary dexterity
- Able to work in confined spaces
- Work courteously and effectively with residents, families, and the public
Job Qualifications

- Strong English and math skills
- One year experience in nursing home, hospital, or hospitality setting preferred
- Food service experience preferred
- Serve-safe certification within six months of employment
Job Duties
- Provide meals and nourishment to residents
- Maintain nursing care pantries according to set guidelines
- Follow proper sanitation procedures in all food service aspects
- Serve meals in a dining room setting
- Prepare meal trays
- Wash dishes
- Set up tray-lines
