Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within dining or hospitality services
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to train and develop staff
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in dining services management or hospitality leadership
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Ability to train, mentor, and develop staff effectively
  • Knowledge of dining room etiquette and customer service standards
  • Familiarity with payroll and scheduling software
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions
  • Understanding of state and federal regulations related to dining services
  • Commitment to excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion

Job Duties

  • Create wait staff scheduling
  • Recommend changes to food products as necessary to enhance the dining experience and improve the company’s profitability
  • Supervise the closure of the dining rooms at the end of dinner
  • Help maintain appropriate payroll budgeting
  • Assist in managing kitchen and dining staff to achieve customer service and financial goals of dining department
  • Help create a positive work environment in order to maintain low staff turnover
  • Assist in coordinating front and back of house staff to create a seamless flow
  • Be responsible for training and development of new wait staff
  • Provide appropriate coaching and counseling to employees so they can perform job duties effectively
  • Support the needs of the dining department
